Exchange Programs

We embarked on an exchange Program for Zimbabwe and other countries to unpack opportunities and ways of corporation for young Zimbabweans. The Country Management led by the Country Director Ambassador Tinashe Ngirandi paid courtesy visits to diplomatic missions deployed to the Republic of Zimbabwe. They discuss ways of corporation and collaboration. They also held various programs together. We hosted a Young Women in Leadership Round Table with the Australian Embassy in Zimbabwe, and also hosted various events with the Embassy of the State of Palestine to Zimbabwe.

Gender programs

The Young Global Leaders Network has held various programs and initiatives to promote women and gender equality in Zimbabwe. The Country Director led the team in paying a Courtesy Visit to the Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Gender Commission to discuss various ways of cooperation. We hosted a Young Women in Leadership roundtable to discuss how they can improve and take a lead in various speakers; various successful women were invited as speakers. We also participated at the international Women’s Day and the International Day of the Girl Child. The organization also supported the launch of the book, Being Unapologetically Feminist, by a 19 year old Grettelle Gazah.

Youth Peace and Security Programs

The Young Global Leaders Network, Zimbabwe Chapter, work to promote the Continental Framework on Youth Peace and Security. Our organization works to promote peace and security among young people. We have met various leaders of different political parties to promote peace and tolerance among young people. we also work in solidarity with peace and conflict awareness

Climate Change

We work with the Government and other organizations in Zimbabwe to fight for climate justice and awareness on climate adaptation and finance. We have participated at clean up campaigns and other climate related activities. We have contributed to the Zimbabwe Youth Position paper towards COP 26 and now COP 27.

Youth Development and Leadership training

We are committed to youth development, empowerment, and leadership development for young Zimbabweans. We hold various events, workshops and seminars to promote this. This is where young people come together, interact, network and share information. Also a platforms share policy advocacy frameworks.
